• Understanding Coaching Foundations: This unit will cover the basics of coaching, including its history, principles, and best practices. It will also introduce students to the International Coach Federation (ICF) and its ethical guidelines.
• Active Listening and Powerful Questioning: This unit will focus on two key coaching skills: active listening and powerful questioning. Students will learn how to listen actively to understand their clients' needs and goals, and how to ask effective questions to help clients explore new possibilities.
• Establishing Coaching Agreements: In this unit, students will learn how to establish clear coaching agreements with their clients. They will learn how to define the scope of the coaching relationship, set goals and expectations, and create a coaching plan.
• Developing Coaching Presence: This unit will explore the concept of coaching presence, which refers to the ability to be fully present and attuned to the client in the coaching session. Students will learn how to create a safe and supportive coaching environment, and how to use their own intuition and creativity to help clients achieve their goals.
• Coaching for Change: This unit will focus on the role of coaching in facilitating change. Students will learn how to help clients identify areas for growth and development, create action plans, and overcome obstacles to change.
• Coaching Tools and Techniques: In this unit, students will learn about a variety of coaching tools and techniques, including assessments, visualization, and goal-setting strategies. They will also learn how to integrate these tools into their coaching practice.
• Building a Successful Coaching Practice: This unit will cover the business side of coaching, including how to market and promote a coaching practice, set fees, and manage client relationships. Students will also learn about the importance of ongoing professional development and supervision.
